Pewdiepie gets banned from Fiverr

In a video published yesterday on his youtube channel, Pewdiepie went onto fiverr.com and paid two Indian guys to write “death to all jews” on a sign and hold it up and dance a bit.

Fiverr, if you didn’t know, is a website where you can go and pay people five dollars (or more) to do, well, whatever your heart desires. The video (entitled: ‘I’ve discovered the greatest thing online…’) revolves around Pewdiepie going onto fiverr and attempting to pay people to do ridiculous, outrageous, and “funny” things. Some of it’s a bit entertaining:

He pays a guy who dresses up like Jesus to read a thing about Jacksepticeye.

He pays a guy to teach him to sing in Hebrew.

He tries to pay some lady to play roblox with him but she won’t.

And yeah, in a stunt that is particularly unfunny and offensive, he pays two guys to write “death to all jews” on a big scroll and hold it up and then say “Subscribe to Keem Star.” Pewdiepie was apparently surprised at the results when he got pretty much exactly what he asked for. He gave the duo a five star rating, said he was sorry, and tried to explain himself, saying:

I am sorry. I didn’t think they would actually do it. I feel partially responsible, but just, I didn’t think they would actually do it. I mean I gotta give them five stars for an outstanding experience because at least they did what I asked.

Wow. That has been Fiverr. What an experience! Wow. I didn’t expect that. I didn’t expect that. Let me know if I should do more of these. Leave a like, I guess. …I don’t feel good. I don’t feel too proud of this, I’m not gonna lie. Like I’m not anti-semitic, or whatever it’s called, okay, so don’t get the wrong idea. It was a funny meme and I didn’t think it would work, okay? You can’t hold me- You can’t hold me- The Verge, please, stop! Stop! No! I swear, I love jews. I love ’em.

[Pewdiepie plays the kazoo for a moment then a link to another Pewdiepie video appears in the frame.]

Check out this video. It’s similar to this one, I guess. Uh, if you watch another video,  you support me and what I do, so I appreciate that. Thank you. I am so sorry. I am just sorry. I don’t know what else to say.

[Pewdiepie plays the kazoo and the video ends.]

Pewdiepie and the individuals who made the scroll and the video were apparently banned from Fiverr. The youtube video itself was demonetized, according to Pewdiepie who tweeted about it earlier today.

The video currently has about 4 million views and a like/dislike ratio of about 45 to 1.
